Cheryal Nadine Brown

July 5, 1946 – September 12, 2026

Cheryal Brown, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026. She was born on July 5, 1946, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Albert and Elsie Haack.

Cheryal will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured the time spent creating memories with her children and grandchildren.

Cheryal was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicky N. Brown; her parents, Albert and Elsie Haack; and her brother, Carter Haack.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her daughter Pamela Brown and grandsons Jordan and Taylor; her daughter Dawn Faughender, her husband Todd, and grandsons Nicholas, Jakob, and Skyler; and her son Douglas Brown, his wife Melissa, grandsons Joshua Papini, Thomas Brown, and Hunter Allen, and granddaughter Jaedyn Brown.

Though Cheryal is no longer with us, her love, kindness, and memories will live on through her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Following the service, family and friends are invited to a celebration of Cheryal’s life at her residence in the Spokane Valley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
