

Casey, Cleo I (age 93) entered into rest on February 12th, 2011. She is survived by her children: Betty McDonald of Spokane, WA and Neil Card of Hiawassei, GA; eleven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren; and by her sisters Nola (Leroy) Imus and Charlotte (Paul) McLucas. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Foster Card, in 1974; her second husband, Bill Casey, in 1998; her daughter, Darlene Gilbert, in 1998; and by one sister and two brothers. Cleo was born in LaCrosse, WA to William and Florence Pintler in 1917. She married Foster Card in 1939. She resided in Newman Lake, WA where she raised her three children. In 1959 she married Bill Casey. She worked various jobs throughout Spokane including that as a caregiver, waitress, and cook. In 1984, she and Bill moved to Clarkston, WA. She returned to Spokane in 2001 after Bill had passed away. Cleo enjoyed gardening, painting, art classes, crocheting, traveling, and church socials. Her most special moments were the precious times spent with her family. She was a thoughtful, sweet, and loving mother who will be greatly missed. Visitation for Cleo will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA. A funeral service will take place on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
