My heart sank when I heard just yesterday on NPR that Craig had passed away.  I was the PIO for the City of Spokane Valley for 13 years, and Craig was one of the folks serving in the same kind of role whom I admired and from whom I learned a lot.  He made folks smile, charmed the kids around him, was diplomatic yet forthright, and adept at handling tough communications situations.   My condolences to all who knew him.

I am at a loss for words I’m still in shock and I can’t stop thinking about him! I had the pleasure of meeting him one day when I went to the post office. He was near his truck and I came out and I’m heading to my car so I went up to him and I asked if I could give him a hug, and of course, he said yes, I was so excited and happy to meet him. My heart is just breaking. ❤️🙏🏻

I am so sorry for your loss! I pray that Jesus comforts your hearts during this really painful time. 
I enjoyed growing up as next door neighbors with you all!

I can’t even begin to explain a very special friendship we had. I was his confidante and he was mine. He was an amazing friend. I will miss him tremendously. I will miss him just stopping by to check up on me and say hi. He spoke to me from his deepest soul knowing he could always trust me. He was Spokane. Always and forever.
