Dave was born to Dan and Donna Bruna, and raised in Spokane Valley, WA with his brother Ron and sister Julie. In 1980 to 1991 Dave joined the U.S Navy Reserves, and served with the elite Seabees during Desert Storm. He felt honored to serve his country in the Navy, as did his father, uncle, and son. Dave married Diana Helgert and they had 2 sons Joseph and Danny. Dave remarried and they had their daughter Emily. He loved and was proud of his children, and adored his granddaughter Kaylil. Dave liked researching on his computer, especially genealogy, and he enjoyed helping friends and neighbors. Dave always loved telling a good joke or story, especially when he got a good laugh.
The Memorial Service for Dave will be Friday, February 2, at 11am at Pines Cemetery Mausoleum in Spokane Valley, WA. Please join us for the reception that follows. The interment will follow at 12:30pm.
