Donald G. LaBelle

April 24, 1934 - May 2, 2012

Don passed away May 2, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA. He was born on April 24, 1934 to Ray and Lucy LaBelle. Don had one brother Gordon and one sister Emmajean. He married Joanne Kraft in 1954 and recently celebrated 58 years of marriage. Don moved to the Spokane Valley where he raised eight children Ed (Kathi), Debbie (Dennis), Karen (Bob), Diane (Joseph), Mary, Theresa (Jerry), Steve, Cindy (Pat), along with the eight children he had 17 grandchildren, Danielle, Jacob, Katie, James, Bryan, Cory, Sandy, Brandon, Eric, Jennifer, Britni, Jonathan, Timothy, Lanae, Brad, Harlen, Mercedi, and three great grandchildren, David, Isiah, Ally Jo. Don drove truck for Zellerbach Paper Co. He retired after 42 years. He loved the outdoors which included hunting and fishing. He even earned the nickname "one more time around". Don spent most of his free time at his property on the Pend Oreille River where he always had plenty of friends and family to enjoy it with him. A big fish fry or BBQ was always a must. He grew a bountiful garden and loved to show it off. Don was devoted to church and attended St. Paschals where some of his kids attended school and even got married. Don was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will greatly missed and always in our hearts and memories.
