Don graduated from North Central HS. He married and had two children. Dawn April and (Darrin William who preceded him in death).
Don was drafted in 1967 to Vietnam and returned in1968. For his service he received both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
Don was a Master welder and Pipe fitter. He spent many years traveling through the states working on various projects.
Don later married and is survived by Eileen his wife of 28 years.
Throughout his life he was an avid hunter, fisher, and outdoors man. He traveled to Africa on safari, to northern Canada to hunt caribou, has many trophy bucks, and stories.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday May 31 at Salem Luthern on Broadway near Kendal Yard in west Spokane.
