Born in Henderson NC on January 7th 1932 to the parents of Ruric Stanton and Annabelle Patten, she grew up with a brother and two sisters.
Dorothy was known for living life with love, laughter and forgiveness. She had a passion for dancing and travel. She is survived by her sister Besty and two children Wendy and Tom, seven grandchildren and eight great grand children.
A service to honor her life will be held on November 7 at 11:00am at Spokane Valley Methodist Church located at 115 N Raymond Rd Spokane Valley.
