Dorothy passed away peacefully on December 22, 2010. Dorothy was born 1916 in Spokane, WA to Fred and Anna (Young) Lipps. A graduate of Rogers High School l935, she worked at the Crescent Dept. store for many years. Robert and Dorothy were married October 12, l940 at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Proceeded in death by husband Robert (having spent 69 years of marriage), sister Erma Lipps, brother Calvin Lipps. Surviving is brother Everett Lipps, Tualatin, Or, nephews Jerrold Lipps, Wilsonville, Or, and Harvey Lipps, Portland, Or. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her close friends and care givers whom reminisced past years with her. A special thank you to Hospice of Spokane, for, their compassionate care and support prior to her death. Visitation will be on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 from Noon to 4:30pm at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home – 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, Wa. 99206. Private entombment will be Jan. 4, Tuesday, at 10am at Pines Cemetery. Memorial remembrances can be made to Hospice of Spokane.
