Edna M Herrmann

Passed away May 17, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Edna was born in Spokane, WA to Edward J. and Merle Ramsey on May 13, 1921. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, her husband of 60 years Phil J. Herrmann, daughter Lois Strohmeyer, and her grand-daughter Tina Strohmeyer. Edna worked many years at Armors Meat Packing Co. and also as a nurse aid, at Parkwater Nursing Home. Edna enjoyed crocheting, and sewing on plastic canvas which she gave to family and friends. She was a great cook and did a lot of canning from dad's garden. She is survived by a son John and Glenna Herrmann, daughters, Sharon and Jim Brewer, Barbara and J.C. Becker, and Linda Herrmann, her sister Margaret Carr and brother-in-law, and sister-in-laws all of Spokane. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for Edna will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 from 4 - 8 PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley. A Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 25th at 1:00 P.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel.
