It was a life well lived.
Passed away December 4, 2015. Edward Green was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, October 11, 1936. As a child, Ed loved to draw and build detailed models. He gravitated to his long and interesting career as an Aerospace Engineer. Ed always relished the challenge of working on projects that took this country into the future and into space. He was very proud of his contributions and felt privileged to work alongside so many intelligent, creative and talented people. He would be the first to admit he loved the work he was born to do. Ed and LuAnn moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1992 and loved living in Washington. It reminded Ed of the Southern California of his youth.
His loving wife of 37 years was by his side at both work and home. Ed’s wife, LuAnn, and their loving and devoted daughter Charlette Berger and his wonderful son-in-law Dr. William Berger (“my son-in-law the doctor”) were at his side when he completed the circle of his rich and blessed life.
Ed’s warm laugh and interesting stories will be missed by those who knew him. His loss will be felt by his loving family, his wife LuAnn, daughter Charlette Berger, his sons Robert, Edward and Allen Green, his sisters Mary Lou Hamilton, Dora Lee Nisewaner, his brothers Stephen, Danny and Richard Green, and his many nieces and nephews that brought happiness into his life.
Edward made a point in life not to dwell on what he could not change. He set out to be the future through the gifts God had given him.
A funeral service will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA, December 9, 2015, 3:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Dr, Corona Del Mar, CA, December 13, 2015, 11:00 AM.
