Elizabeth Jean Rosenau

Rosenau, Elizabeth Jean (Age 84) passed away on November 11, 2014 at her home in Spokane Valley, Washington. Mrs. Rosenau was born on February 2, 1930 in Spokane, Washington to Dale and Gladys (Shields) Lambert. She spent time in her early years in the Waverly/Fairfield area where her relatives had been early settlers. She married her lifelong friend and love Ralph E. Rosenau on May 27, 1950 (he preceded her in death on November 12, 2003). She is survived by her four children, Robin Rosenau in Cashmere, WA, Roberta Melcher in Nine Mile Falls, WA, Raeann Montano in Spokane, WA and Ross Rosenau and his wife Karen in Haverhill, MA; 10 grandchildren, Travis Brown, Josh Melcher, Jessica McLaughlin, Skyler Brown, Rochelle Rosenau, Roxanne Rosenau, Ryan Rosenau, Tori Rosenau, Gianna Rosenau, and Isabella Rosenau. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jacoby Melcher (1987) and Brandon Brown (2001). She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Masson, Jaedyn, Aaliyah, Avery and Kara; and by her sister, Shirley Evenoff; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and loved getting together with her friends to play bridge and attend various activities. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Hope Lutheran Church, 17909 E. Broadway in Spokane Valley. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
