

She was born September 17, 1938 at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
She is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Giba Bockstruck (Jamie) and Traci Banick DeWitt; her grandchildren: Jeffrey Giba (Ashley); Zachary Giba; Jade Banick (Joe) and Bailey Banick Greule (Ryan) and great grandchildren: Brynn and Callahan Giba. Emajean is also survived by her sister Loralee (Little) Andersen, plus nephews, nieces, and many Little family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David DeWitt (54 years of marriage), her father, Carl Verne Little, mother Muriel Walling Little, two brothers-in-law, and two nieces.
Emajean grew up in the valley and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1956 and WSU in 1960. During her college years, summer breaks, and into her 20's, she worked at Howard Tours in Oakland, CA, and moved to Hawaii. While back in Oakland, she went on a surprise date with Dave. They were engaged in Hawaii. In 1964, the couple married in California, where they made their home in Walnut Creek. Soon, they started in business as well as starting a family and having two little girls. In 1973, the family moved to Spokane, WA and once again started business (Key Forms & Graphix) in 1974.
She loved tennis, badminton, being outdoors in the sunshine, camping, RV travel, Patsy Cline, Sound of Music, Maple bars, Pinochle Ladies, and most of all her family!
Throughout her life, she was a member of various organizations: Rainbow Girls, 4-H, Good Sam's RV Club, Maverick Sam's, Get Along Sam's, Washington State Good Sam's Directors 2010-2014 (along with her husband), El Karnak Daughters of the Nile.
She will be remembered for her kind, sweet, and gentle character.
The funeral will be Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd. at 10 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1 PM at Arbor Grove Clubhouse (18926 E. Mission Ave. - East of Barker)
RIP Emajean, EJ, momma, mother, G'ma, Grams, Granny Goose, Great Gramma. Dance on together Daddy and Mother! We love you! We will cherish you forever in our hearts!
