My memory of Jack goes way back to when I was a little girl. My Dad was on the Spokane Valley Fire Department when Jack was burned in a fire. At that time they didn't let children into Valley General to visit patients. Jack's room was on the floor level at the hospital and Dad would go in to his room and open the window so my sister and I could see him and talk with him. One day we brought him a milkshake and snuck it to him. Everytime since that day if any of us would see Jack he would bring up that special memory. Heaven has a special angel watching over us!! I hope they have rootbeer milkshakes in Heaven Jack!!
