James L. Davis

James passed away at home in Greenacres, WA and went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2011. He was born on March 29, 1935 in Fort Peck, Montana to Harvey and Hilda Davis. James is survived by his son, Darwin Davis; daughters Debra Pace and Denise Freed; grandchildren, Dwayne Davis, Michelle Davis, Cory Pace, Robert Pace, Angie Pace, and Matthew Lahman; seven great grandchildren Ciara, Landry, Karrisa, Taylor, Wynter, James, Caleb and one on the way; and sister, Shirley Schultz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia and three siblings, Betty, Bill and Harry. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10:00AM at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home, 1400 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA. James proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps and he will be laid to rest on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2:15pm at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery, 21702 W Espanola Rd Medical Lake, WA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a cancer research charity of your choice.
