

Went home to be with the Lord on November 26th, 2010. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. Jane was born in Mott, North Dakota on March 5, 1933 to Lloyd and Ruby Jolin. The family moved to Idaho in 1944. She attended Coeur d’Alene High School. She married the love of her life, Gene Marisch in 1951. They lived at Newman Lake, WA for 30 years and spent the last 16 years on Campbell Road. Jane was active in the March of Dimes, organizing functions and working in the telethons. She also was active in Boy Scouts, Campfire Girls, Bluebirds, and Girl Scouts. She was a wonderful cook, artist and homemaker and always made sure family and friends came first. She was the center of the family and held many family gatherings making sure bonds were strengthened. She was loved by not only friends and family, but by many she came in contact with. She was not only strong and courageous, but brought so much love, joy and laughter to everyone she knew and she will be sorely missed. She attended Nine Mile Community Church. A devoted Christian, who loved the Lord and His Word greatly, shared her faith with many throughout her life. She was ready to go home to Glory and knew her Savior would comfort and keep her family strong during this difficult time. She is survived by her husband, Gene Marisch and her four children: James and Patti Marisch, Timothy and Corinne Marisch, Pamela and James Duda, and Tammy Corbin. Gene and Jane had 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. She is also survived by siblings: Clara Scotvold from San Antonio, Texas; Charles and Ruth Jolin from Lakeport, California; Robert and Carol Jolin from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; JoAnn and Tom Derus from Acme, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ruby Jolin, brother Gene Jolin, sisters June White and Lou Smith. As Jane was a dialysis patient for 11 years, the family would like to extend their thanks to the Valley Dialysis Clinic and all of the medical personnel for all of their wonderful care throughout the years. Special thanks to granddaughter Amy who worked in the ICU for years and was a huge help in the last days. Special thanks from the Family to Danette White for her support and love through all the dialysis years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 9:30AM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in her name.
