Kalsin John Lonam, age 36, of Rockford, Washington, passed away on May 16, 2021. Kalsin, “Kal” was born on November 25th, 1984 in Spokane Valley, Washington to Mark T and Pam A Lonam, at a weight of 12.6 pounds.
He enjoyed spending his time with his family, playing games, and putting together puzzles. His family and friends will always remember him as a gentle giant. Kal faced many adversities in life, including a brave fight with cancer. He always faced them like a champ, exuding a positive attitude through it all.
Kal is survived by his parents Mark and Pamela Lonam, siblings Stephanie (Will) Villafane, Markie (Megan) Lonam, and Thomas (Gabriel) Lonam, nieces and nephews John Tsawkli, Aiden Villafane, Zoe Villafane, Tristan Brutschy, River Lonam, Benjamin Lonam, and Evelynn Lonam. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kal came into this world big, and has left a big hole in our hearts. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life to honor Kal in Rockford, Washington on Saturday, May 22nd at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Kal’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or the family will be collecting donations to send to St. Jude’s at the service.
