Leo Paul Bollman, beloved son, brother, husband, father but most importantly a child of God, was born November 12, 1934, in Kooskia, Idaho, in a little home on the banks of the Clearwater River. His family consisting of Earl (father), Ruth (mother), and Merton (brother) moved to the Spokane area ending up at Chester where in the third grade he met his future wife, Dolores Mae Wing, a first grader. They fell "in love" in the eighth and seventh grades respectfully and married the year he graduated from high school on September 25, 1953. In October 1959 his most important decision was made when he decided to place his future life (and eternity) in the hands of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who so many years ago shed his blood on the cross just for a man named Leo to have his sins forgiven and be excepted into God's growing family. Leo and Dolores experienced many, many adventures in their nearly 65 years of marriage. The Lord led them and their family in a marvelous way. Leo is survived by his wife, Dolores; daughters Barb (Tim) Klingenberg and BJ (Garth) Hopfe; and son Mitch (Jan) Bollman. Grandchildren Vanessa Hopfe, Nate Hopfe, Matt Klingenberg, Tia (Curtis) Polley, Blake Bollman (fiancée Samantha Jacobs), Shelby (Quintan) Gordon, and Shevelle Bollman (fiancé Dylan Swannack). And one delightful great grandson Emmett Polley. Brothers Merton Bollman and Richard (Mollie) Bollman and sister Carol Bollman. Preceding him to heaven are parents Earl and Ruth Bollman, brother Larry Bollman and son Michael Bollman.
On September 19, 2018, Leo entered into the arms of his loving Savior after battling esophageal cancer this year. His greatest desire was that all would come to know and love the Lord Jesus as he did. The family wish to express thanks for CaringBridge website providing an easy way to communicate with so many.
