Linda graduated from North Central High School in 1962 and went on to earn a degree from Kinman Business University, bringing diligence and care to all she pursued.
She worked as an escrow agent in banking, a role that reflected her dependable nature and the respect she earned through conscientious service and attention to detail.
Linda was married for just short of 60 years to Orville Ray Morgan Sr., and together they raised two sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bus and Irma Durbin, and her sister, Dorothy (Durbin) Watkins. She is survived by her husband, Orville Ray Morgan Sr.; her sons, Orville Ray Morgan Jr. (Sherry) and Trevor Lee Morgan (Valerie); 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Linda will remember the simple pleasures she cherished—gardening, fishing, and time with family—interests that reflected a life grounded in patience, warmth, and enduring love.
Linda attended Pilgrim Lutheran Church and Moran United Methodist Church, and she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a non-collegiate, social sorority—communities where her presence and fellowship were valued.
The family is grateful to Hospice of Spokane for their care and compassion.
Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park, with a Celebration of Life to be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a cancer society/charity.
