

Lucy Sileo, 83 of Spokane went from her daughter's hand to God's on Wednesday 11/24/10 after a brave yet brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born December 13th, 1927 and raised by nuns in an orphanage in Istanbul, Turkey. Working as a governess, she came to America with the Dingee family, where she met and married Daniel Sileo in May of 1956 in Stamford, Connecticut. She worked as a nurse's aide and her passion was cooking and loving her grandchildren. She was known best for her cute accent, her ability to smile whatever the trial and her amazing culinary skills. She was generous, loving and kind. She was predeceased by her sons Jimmy and Danny, and survived by her husband Daniel, Daughter Michelle Petrilli, her husband Frank Petrilli and her grandchildren Nicole and Frank Petrilli of Spokane, her daughter in law Crystal Roberts, her granddaughter Heather Garrett and great-grandchildren Brian and Isabella Garrett of Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 10AM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 South Pines Road in Spokane Valley, WA.
