I had been blessed to have had Lucy in my life for over 20 Years. She was a true friend. Someone I could talk to about everything, she was always there for me with words of wisdom. Lucy was a woman who did not think of herself but of her family and friends first. We would spend countless hours on the phone talking about what was happening in our lives.  Despite our age difference I could talk to Lucy about anything. I looked forward to her trips back to Connecticut so we could spend time together and catch up with our lives in person. I can remember the best Christmas that I ever had was when Lucy and Jimmy came to the first holiday dinner in my new condo. We sat around the dinner table with my family, friends, Lucy and Jimmy playing games and laughing so hard that our sides started to hurt.  I   have so many memories of Lucy that I could write a book. Words cannot due justice to what Lucy brought into my life. I will miss her dearly and to Michelle and her family Lucy is now at peace, in a better place with Jimmy and Danny.  Lucy will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. Love Maribeth

I am missing "mom" very much now that I am home and it is settling in. There was no one like her; her laugh, her caring for everybody and 50 years of memories (too much to count) but beautiful ones.  I will miss her always until we are together again.  Let you hearts be filled with hope even as you grieve. Know that she is with her Lord and Savior and in perfect health and peace.

Michelle,losing a Mother is indescribable. We can only comfort ourselves in the knowledge that she is in a glorious place and free from pain and suffering. I have known Lucy for little over 8 years, pregnant with my daughter at the time, when I missed my mom the most, she gave me a mothers warmth and we connected instantly, we had a lot in common and were able to speak a little Turkish together, as my daughter says, Lucy was like family to us, we would stop by and see her sometimes, I will never forget her face light up, when she saw us at the door. We have a lot of memories with Lucy at her place and our house. When my mom visited us from Turkey 7 years ago, Lucy and my mom loved each other right away and they were like 2 sisters. I will miss her phone calls, her sweet voice and her sunshine smile. Our thoughts and prayers to Michelle, Frank and family...

My beloved Lucy will always be an example to me.  In her genuine humility she was always asking questions, never realizing just how much she was teaching us all.  I will miss my Lucy-hugs the rest of my life, but the love they imparted will never fade.  May the God of all comfort bring you into His peace as we wait on the Day of the Lord.  THank you Jesus.

Lucy had a twinkle in her eye. I knew the moment I met her that she was someone delightful and special. Although our family only knew her a few shorts years, we were blessed to have spent fun times with sweet Lucy. She will be greatly missed, but forever remembered. My condolence to you all.  I have such good memories of Lucy.  A very sweet woman who I had the gift to meet.  We got along right away.  We spoke french together.  Also we talked about baking and Lucy baked a cake the very following day we met and it was out of this world.
We talked a few times on the phone during the years.  Lucy was such a wonderful woman.  I know I will miss her very much even if I live far away.  I will be thinking of you all December 1 at 7pm our time.  And of course of Lucy who has been a great friend not only to me but to my family in Spokane. 
I will miss her and all the love she brought to this world.
