Mike purchased his house in Millwood in 1976 where he remained his entire life raising his family with his wife Glenda. Mike was a wonderful family man and he enjoyed his retirement working on his classic vehicles.
Mike moved to Stockton, CA when he was 6 years old. He began working as a newspaper carrier when he was a teenager and continued as a paper delivery man for the Spokesman Review and the Spokane Chronicle once he moved back to Spokane, where he graduated from West Valley high school in 1969.
Mike started working for the Inland Empire Paper Company in 1976 and remained there for 14 years until he started his own company as a residential general contractor. He was a skilled, honest, hardworking contractor doing quality work which earned him loyal customers, many who became lifelong friends.
Mike was a Cub Scout Pinewood Derby technician for 17 years. He then became an Assistant Boy Scout Master helping all four of his sons attain Eagle Scout.
Mike was preceded in death by his son Kirk, father Ted, and grandparents Ruth and John Taylor, and Martha and James Martin Bray.
Mike is survived by Glenda Bray his wife of 51 years. His mother Doris Dean. His three sons and their families. Jake and Aureleen, Adam and Jenny, and Luke. His Grandchildren Kirsten, Scotty, Korynne, Trevan, Jessica, and Dylan. Great grandchildren Darek, Bruce, Brooke, Kirk, Kaysen and Journi (expected February 2023). He is also survived by his sisters, Melanie and James Weber, Carlie and Gerald Schmidt, and Jeannie and Steve Schroder.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday November 22nd 4:30pm at Millwood Presbyterian Church 3223 N Marguerite Rd Millwood WA 99212
