Myron was born on April 20, 1943 to Emma and Eldred Wright in Spokane. He passed away March 21, 2013 after a long-fought battle with heart/lung disease. He graduated from West Valley High School in 1961. He proudly served in the Air Force from 1961 to 1965. Myron met and married Lidice A. Motl from San Angelo, Texas in 1967. They moved back to Spokane and started a family with two sons. Myron was very involved with the Boy Scouts, community and outdoor activities. He always had an open-door policy with family and friends along with a big grin on his face. He worked as an appliance repair technician for many years at G.E. until he retired in 1995. Sports were a passion and lifelong pastime for Myron. That was very evident in all the miles he would travel to watch and support family and friends. Hunting, fishing and APA Pool were other activities that he dearly loved. Myron was preceded in death by his son, Keith Myron Wright. He is survived by Lidice (Me Ma), wife of 45 years; son, Kevin; grandchildren, Krissy, Shelby and Hunter; daughter, Roci; mother-in-law, Pearl Motl; brother-in-law, Gary (Debi) Motl; sister-in-law, Becky (Steve) Ellwanger; aunts, Dorothy Rice and Loretta Widlund; nieces, nephews and numerous cousins in Texas and North Dakota as well as friends near and far. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Visitation will take place from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, March 28th at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, March 29th at the same location. Interment with military honors to follow at Pines Cemetery.
