

Naomi Ruth Horlacher, 75, of Spokane Valley, Washington, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 11, 2026.
Naomi was born June 9, 1950, in Bellingham, Washington, to Reverend Leonard White and Evelyn White. She was raised in a Christian home and maintained a lifelong faith in Jesus Christ.
Naomi worked for the U.S. Bureau of Mines, where she assisted in the investigation and reporting related to the Sunshine Mine disaster in Idaho. She later worked for the Bonneville Power Administration and the Port of Chelan County before retiring from the Central Valley School District after many years of dedicated public service.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Horlacher; her brother, Steve White (Pam); her son, Nicholas Lasko (Alicia) and their children Robert and Rebecca; and her son, Nathan Lasko and his children LilyAnn and Lincoln.
She is also survived by her stepchildren, Nikole Schafer (Ron) and their children Shelby Rice (Justin) and their children Elsie and Miles; Sierra Bergman (Carter), and Samya Schafer; Sven Horlacher (Kristen) and their son Dylan; and Kai Horlacher (Stacy) and their children Alexis and Kiera.
Naomi was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose faith was central to her life. She faithfully served the Lord through music, playing the piano and organ for many years in Assemblies of God churches. She was strong in conviction, generous in spirit, and known for her quick wit and unwavering opinions. Her life was marked by faith, loyalty, and a deep love for her family.
A service will be held March 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Journey Church (formerly Glad Tidings), 4224 E 4th Ave., Spokane. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Journey Church in Naomi’s name.
