

She was born Jan 12th, 1925 in Sandpoint ID. She passed away on Dec. 21st, 2016 in the Spokane Valley.
After moving from Sandpoint her senior year, she graduated high school from North Central. She married Lee Gimlen in 1946. They moved to Spangle in 1959. Together they enjoyed rodeos, gardening, painting, crafts, and fishing until his passing October 1982. She was involved in square dancing with the Diamond Squares for ten years. She later married Wayne Gander in 1992 and together they enjoyed traveling and were part of Spokane Rock Rollers Club until his passing in December 2009.
She is survived by her 3 children, sons Gary L. Gimlen (Jerri) and Robert R. Gimlen (Ronda), daughter Patti L. Kim (Frank), brother-in-law, Ray Gimlen, five grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and step children.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marion and Josephine Ewing and her brother Dick Ewing and his wife Doris.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday Dec. 28th at 11am at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home at 1306 N. Pines Rd. Spokane Valley. Interment will be afterwards at Spangle Cemetery.
