Dearest Suzanne and all of the family;

 Today is my birthday and I feel that my biggest gift today was and is to be able to say that Portia was and is my Goddaughter. I am forever grateful for the beautiful fabric which comprises the amazing tapestry which is this life, an extension of which is  Portia and Suzanne and all of the family  forever connecting all of us with love.  I am grateful for this, and I thank the Lord for Portia and I send my love to Suzanne and all of the family and all of us and the friends who love Portia.  We are a lucky bunch, so much better are we for having known Portia;  a true beacon of that love! My sister, Alisha, was a good high school friend of Portia. I remember spending time with her and I am so very sorry for her passing. Even though many years have passed, I remember her vibrancy and contagious smile. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

 we had our whole  lives planned together. we were going to " Grow old Ladies together, single and alone", But always together. 
Our First communion together, getting caught stealing a bag of marbles together when we were 6. Then later in life, living together and with that, every night became a paty, but only because we were together. Remember we would say " Man! It would be so much eaiser if you were a man. We only need eachother" You knew things about me i've never said outloud, and so did I. I will never know anyone who can ever take your place. A 27 year friend/sister doesnt just happen. God Blessed me with you when i was 3, and I thank him everyday eventhough you are gone. you have taught me how to be a woman, friend, sister and most of all,   how to love.I will be forever gratful to you. without knowing,  you were my right hand as I was your left.
Sis, Im lost without you. Who's gonna dress me? do my makeup, hair... or tell me i cant go out of the house looking like that.??
I could go on forever. I really could. my life has you forever engranded in it.I just now need to live without my best sister friend

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Portia was a good friend of mine in high school and we always had so much fun together. She was a very beautiful girl inside and out. Try to smile when you are able, Portia always had such a beautiful smile. My thoughts are with you in these times.

No sympathy card or message can define our shattering hearts.I have a million beautiful memories that are too precious to ever fade, but will never come to terms with this horrific loss.

Dearest Suzanne, Bob and family,
You have our condolences and deepest sympathy in the too early passing of your dear Portia. Could not believe it when read her obit in Friday paper and was glad to get to the rosary to pay respect and be able to embrace you both.  I go back to Billings with both of you and have a very fond place in my heart for you.  Suzanne, I just was strolling thru my rolodex last week and came on your name and wanted to call you but not sure if the number was correct still since it has been a long time since we have talked.  Then here a couple days later is this obituary on your dear daughter.  Sorry we could not make it to the funeral on Saturday, but had previous plans that we could not change.  So glad I got to see you all on Friday though.  Sure hope we can speak soon and feel free to call me at anytime. Again, you have our prayers and warm thoughts during this difficult time. My heart is heavy for your entire family upon reading of Portia's passing.  Our daughter, Abby, attended 8th grade, at St. John Vianney with Portia. They were the only 2 girls in their class.  Portia and Abby spent lots of time together, bouncing from our house to Portia's.  We always enjoyed having her in our home.  Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry for your loss. I went to High School with Portia, she was such a wonderful person! My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends!

Portia will be dearly missed. I wish I could have made the trip over but could not get off work. My thoughts are with all of her family, especially Suzanne.        Love, Staci Adams
