Richard Plascencia, age 26, passed away on May 10, 2010 in Spokane Valley, Washington. He was born on September 1, 1983 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He is survived by his mother, Christine (Gabe) Virgil; father, Salvador (Sol) Plascencia; his son, Marcus Plascencia; sisters, Melissa, Amanda and Lusy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Richard loved his music, singing, dancing, camping, skiing and cooking. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held today Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10AM at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to be made to a memorial fund that has been set up for his son, Marcus Plascencia, at Horizon Credit Union.
