Ruth Ann Reel

She was born on November 18, 1937, in Springfield, MI. Ruth graduated from Pasadena High School (CA.) in 1954 with a diploma.

Ruth married the love of her life Gil Reel in 1990. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was dedicated to the church and was even a Sunday school teacher.

She was a creative woman and enjoyed sewing, singing, and playing the piano. She also liked to garden and go fishing.

Ruth's family would describe her as a loving, caring, smart, and beautiful woman who was career driven and resourceful. They miss her for the joy she brought to their lives.

Ruth was survived by Husband Gil, Son Curtis Lewis, Daughter Pam (Steve) Barrs, Sister Lyn (H.P.) Holland , Nephews Tim (Sue) Cornell, Bill (Lisa) Cornell, Nieces Linda Sutheimer, Tamara Hopton, Step-Sons Robert (Tracy) Reel, Scott Reel, Charmane (Harry) Jordon, Grandchildren Jan (Andy) Allen, Shawn (Jennifer) Sullivan, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Mother Ricky Taylor, Brothers Warren and David Taylor, as well as Daughter Terri Ann Lewis.

The family would like to thank Marcia Hall, Erin Swicegood, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints relief society.

A Service was held for Ruth at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on September 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM. 280 N. 4th Street, Couer D'Alene, ID. 83815.
