Sylvia Anne (English) Fitzpatrick died peacefully at home in Spokane Valley, WA on January 23, 2021 at the age of 90, having recently celebrated her birthday. Sylvia is survived by her sons, Hugh (Susan) Fitzpatrick of Spokane Valley, WA and John (Mary) Fitzpatrick of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by grandson Andrew (mother Anna Mikolay) of Pittsburgh, PA and grandsons Christopher, Colin, and Michael of Spokane Valley, as well as seven great grandchildren in the Spokane Valley area. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Fitzpatrick and youngest son Roy.
Sylvia was born in Mount Washington, PA on November 6, 1930 to Roy and Mignon English. She lived throughout her married life in Bellevue, PA where she and Jack raised their sons among the English and Fitzpatrick families. She and Jack lived in Avalon, PA for several years before Jack’s and Roy’s deaths. She moved to Spokane Valley in her later years, where she lived with Hugh and Susan, and was surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
