

Tom E. Tupper passed away on May 13th after a lengthy illness. He was born in Spokane, WA to Arthur Tupper and Joan Marisch Tupper. Tom was the oldest of four siblings. He grew up in Spokane and lived here his entire life. Tom graduated from East Valley High School in 1972. He enjoyed tennis and debate. Tom received a bachelor's degree in psychology and a MBA from Eastern Washington University. He performed as a CFO for multiple businesses over his career and taught business classes at EWU. Tom loved music and taught himself to play many unique instruments. He enjoyed performing in both Blues and African drum groups. He was a member of the "Inland Blues Society." He lived in a rural setting and enjoyed caring for unusual pets. He enjoyed fishing, singing and gardening and recently was learning to bake cookies. He is survived by his parents, his wife Nancy, and his children Nicholaus, Kayla and Kyle. He is also survived by siblings Teri, Gary, and Gail, his grandchildren Hailey, Zack and Andrew, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 10a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 5322 N. Evergreen Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 20 at 1:30p.m. at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines Road, Spokane Valley.
