

October 28, 1987 – July 22, 2011
Age 23 of Yelm WA went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2011. Zach was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and his permanent residence there was with his Granny Pamela Stocksdale who had the privilege of guiding him through his life’s journey. His education included college and certification from Arizona Automotive Institute as an Auto Mechanic. Zach met and married his wife Amanda in July 2008 and joined the Army in August 2008. Zach and Amanda were blessed with a son Everett Ryan Harrington in November 2009. Zach served in Iraq with his unit and was currently stationed at Ft. Lewis serving as a Medic.
Zach was a proud father; a proud soldier, a man of honor, a gifted artist, he loved music, was fiercely loyal and forgiving. He was a self taught musician and an aspiring tattoo artist. He loved his family, music, art, fine sheets, Mexican food and all things daring and full of speed. His family and friends knew him to be a gracious, loving, forgiving, gentle man whose strength, loyalty, love and caring friendship you could always count on.
Zach is survived by his wife Amanda Harrington and his beloved son Everett Ryan Harrington; his mother Dalawna (Jim) Dillman and brother James “Gage” Dillman; his father Robert (Ann Marie) Harrington and sister Allison Harrington and brother Gabriel Harrington; his grandparents; great-grandparents; aunts and uncles; in-law’s; as well as extended family and a multitude of friends.
There will be a Memorial Service honoring Zach at Ft. Lewis on Tuesday, August 2nd and a service with military honors will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 4th in Spokane Valley WA at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S Pines Road with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers please honor Zachary by showing those you love everyday what they mean to you as if it were the last opportunity you will get and show forgiveness even when you don’t think people deserve it. He lived his short life that way.
