Agnes E. Harton

Harton, Agnes Elizabeth (Age 88) Went to heaven July 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by the passing of her husband of 63 years Donald W. Harton (2006) and her daughter Linda Clark (2009). She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Shannon Harton of Spokane, WA; grandchildren Joanna Clark, Jennifer Clark, Jon Harton, and Stephanie Storvick and son-in-law Donald Clark. Agnes was a resident of Spokane since 1927. After graduating from Lewis & Clark High School she worked as a secretary in the office at LC three different times during her lifetime. She was an active member of the DAR, the Eastern Washington Genealogy Society and a member for many years of Heritage Congregational Church. Agnes was very musical and in her early years gave piano lessons and later she played for church services and choirs. She was also part of the bell choir at Heritage Congregational. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2011, 2:00 pm at the Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Ave. Private Interment will be at the Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
