Everyone knew him as Buddy! Buddy graduated from this mortal life August 16, 2018 and is now reunited with his parents Melvin and Joyce Shay, his sister Dora Lebo, and his best friend, Randy. He is survived by his sisters LaRene Jensen in Casper WY, Laura Ramos in Spokane WA, and brother Jared Shay in Surprise AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved him. Buddy adored his mother.
Buddy was a true Trekkie! He owned every episode of the original Star Trek Series. He tried to warn Captain Kirk when danger was ahead! He was also John Denver’s greatest fan. He knew every word to every song John Denver recorded. One of his pastimes was to sing Karaoke with John Denver.
Buddy radiated love and sunshine to all. He brought joy to many people. When he went to work he would pull out a chair for his beloved co-worker and hang her coat for her. He was a true gentleman!
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1620 E 29th Ave. Public Viewing at 9:30, Private Family Viewing at 10:00 am, with Funeral Services beginning at 10:30. Graveside services at 12:30 at Riverside Memorial Park.
