

Carolyn was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook and have family gatherings to bring all of her family together during holidays and birthdays.
Carolyn was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes. She graduated from high school and went on to college to become a nurse and then a phlebotomist.
In her younger years, Carolyn played softball for the Inland Empire Softball League with her then husband. In 2023 their team Zip Trip/Wilson Construction was named "Team of the Decade 1970, Co-ed Slow Pitch".
Carolyn's favorite pastime was watching Matlock and Perry Mason, playing bingo at the Addy Inn, watching her daughter's karaoke and playing pool.
Carolyn was a fighter. She battled two bouts with cancer, was in an auto accident and had surgery on her hip. While these incidents left Carolyn in pain, she was always on the go. She will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dean and Marion Fry, her husband Joe Ryan, her siblings Terry "Dino" Fry and Betty Sundust, and Sassy, her favorite dog-child.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Arleen Flett, Emmitt Emory, Wendy Mertens (Flett), Wilda Gray (Flett) and Roy "R.B" Marchand. She is also survived by several grandchildren: Jason Flett, Gibson Flett, Skylar Jones, Trevor Jones, Erica Flett, Emmitt Flett, Gary Flett, Samantha Goodman, Shawn Goodman, Carolyn Goodman, Alex Collinson, Yvette Bailey, Rikaya Beeman, Deven Craig, and Kylee Sanchez and several great grandchildren.
