Chue Vang Xiong was selfless, loved altruistically, and a mother to all. She was patient and soft-spoken. Many will remember her for her work ethic, but her heart for others was most notable. Regardless of what she was doing, whether it be tending multiple vegetable gardens or embroidery projects, her aim was to meet the needs of others.
Chue passed away on Christmas Eve from liver failure. She was in the comfort of her own home and surrounded by loved ones when she took her final breaths. A Laos native, she was born to Va Pao and Mee Lee Vang and is survived by her husband, six sons, and three daughters: Chongher Xiong, Khoua Xiong, Bee Xiong, Ger Xiong, True Xiong, Meng Xiong, Pheng Xiong, Ying Xiong Vang, Yer (Angie) Xiong Huynh, and Mailee Xiong Nguyen, respectively. She also leaves numerous grandchildren and extensive family members.
Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. The three day funeral will begin on Friday January 6th and conclude with burial on Sunday at Fairmount Memorial Park.
