

Clare “Lee” Chapman (age 83) passed away October 2, 2010 in Spokane, WA. He was born December 20, 1926 in Sioux City, IA to Clare R. and Lillian (Bunney) Chapman. Mr. Chapman served in the US Army from 1945 to 1948, and was a member of the D.A.V. and the V.F.W. He was a resident of Spokane for over 40 years and enjoyed playing golf. His life, however, was dedicated to taking care of his family. His wife, Betty Chapman, preceded him in death in 1999. He is survived by seven children, Barbara Naset, Valerie Olson, Douglas Chapman, Debra Dunn, Janet Chapman, Randy Chapman, Larry Chapman, all of Spokane; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Alwin Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home; 1306 N. Monroe St. Interment will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
