

Connie Kay Danner, age 74, of Colbert, Washington peacefully passed away in her sleep on November 15, 2022, after a brief illness. Connie was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on December 30, 1947 to Edison and Lola Mae Hazel Leu and grew up surrounded by her large family, she had 7 other siblings.
Connie married the love of her life Don Danner on September 21, 1964, and always recounted that when she met Don it was love at first sight. Throughout their 58-year marriage, Connie and Don moved numerous times allowing them to live in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Washington where they gained many friends along the way.
Connie was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was inherently generous, kind, and cared deeply for those that she loved. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe. She was a force of nature who remained as active as a tornado and lived each minute of life to the fullest.
Connie is survived by her husband Don, her daughters Deborah and Dawn; her sons-in-law Paul and Mike, her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Sarah, Jacob, and Grace, and three of her seven siblings Ronnie, Larry, and Terry. Connie also was an honorary grandma to her nieces Andreah, Aliciah, and Amanda and their children.
Her remembrance of life ceremony will be a private ceremony for family members at Fairmount Memorial Park at noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
A private viewing for family members will be held immediately prior to the ceremony at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
