Darrel Alan Courser was born in Pullman Washington on April 29th, 1984 to Timothy and Elizabeth Courser. He was named after his late Great-Great Uncle, Darrel Suiter. In his youth, Darrel loved football, food and messing with his younger brother, Jarred. He was blessed to have a house full of love, laughter and a lot of family in Ledyard Connecticut. Growing up, he was always with his brothers and cousins who came to be known as ‘the boys’. Darrel, Jarred, Matt, Timbo, David, and Daniel would often load up in Jarred’s car and drive all over town. Anywhere Darrel went the ‘boys’ were sure to always follow.
As an adult, Darrel worked hard for all of his life starting from the age of 14. He was a blackjack dealer at a casino, worked at a beach resort for a short time and for the past 14 years, he worked as a manager at the local Spokane Valley Walmart. Darrel was always the life of the party, loved being the center of attention and took pride in his ability to make people laugh. Darrel was a good friend to many and never missed an opportunity to meet new people. Darrel most recently started getting into woodwork and building things around his home, as he loved to work with his hands.
Darrel loved family BBQs, parties, and spending summers out on the boat. He had many aunts, uncles, and cousins. One of his greatest joys in life was to be an Uncle, he loved and spoiled his nieces and nephew any chance he could.
Darrel is survived by his Grandparents Jerry and Joyce Courser of Greenacres, his Parents Timothy and Elizabeth Courser of Spokane Valley, his brother Jarred (Megan) Courser and niece Aleesia of Kingsland, Georgia, his brother Matthew (Emily) Churilla and their children Elizabeth and Alexander of Spokane Valley, and his Uncle and Godfather Richard D. Courser of Spokane Valley. Darrel is preceded in death by his Grandparents, George and Edith Jones and his Great Grandparents Richard and Mary Courser.
