

After the war in Europe, the family moved to Spirit Lake, Idaho where she attended high school. In 1953 she made Spokane her home.
Deanna was a homemaker, known to all as a Domestic Goddess. She lived a full and active life, enjoying go-karts, motorcycles and boating. Boating on Lake Coeur d’Alene for 34 years and riding her wave runner, Lil Mooney, were special to her.
The highlight of her life was when her husband Ray was activated for Desert Storm and she had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. on liberty with 96 Marines. To most of them she was known as Mama Moon.
Deanna was able to travel extensively; from Mexico to Alaska, North Carolina to the Florida Keys. There were many trips to the Bay Area and deserts of California, swimming in both oceans and three Bahama cruises.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Ray,
Brother Robert Morsbach (wife Coleen),daughter Connie Kay (husband Dean), ,son Thomas Ray Moon, numerous nephews, nieces, six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
