Born January 29, 1950 to Delbert and Jo Herring in Nyssa, Oregon. Passed away December 15, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lanet A. Herring of Spokane Valley; sons, Marc Herring of Spokane Valley and Dustin Herring (Angie) of Florence, OR; grandchildren: Nolan, Ryder and Parker; mother, Jo Herring of Lewiston, ID; sisters, Patty Suhr (Jim) of Grangeville, ID and Mary Rotz (Glenn) of Lewiston, ID; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was a generous man who loved God, his family – especially his grandsons who were the light of his life, his neighbors and the great outdoors. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, December 18, 2009, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene.
