Dorothy Ann Stangler

Dorothy was born to Frank and Ruth Stangler in Conrad, Montana on August 3, 1941 and passed away March 26, 2022, in Spokane Washington. She received her degrees in nursing from Montana State University, worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center and later at Lakeland Village in administration until she retired in 2002. Dorothy shared a love of traveling with her friends and family, always with a good glass of wine!! She had a kind and generous heart, readily available to help family and friends. She will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruth Stangler. She is survived by her siblings; Sr Sharon Stangler, Judith Christaens (James), Mary Jo McGowan (Gary), Linda Elliott (Dan), Robert Stangler (Paula), and Kay Phillips, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Horizon Hospice and Generations for their kindness in Dorothy’s final days. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 2 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1517 E.33rd Avenue.
