Edward "Ed" Roberge, 78 of Spokane passed away May 2, 2021. Ed was born June 3, 1942, in Walla Walla to Raymond and Hanna Roberge. He grew up mainly in North Dakota where he developed a love for mechanics and farming- which served him and others well. Upon graduation from high school in Bottineau, ND in 1960, he entered the Navy and served four years mainly as an enginemen in the USS Reclaimer- a rescue and salvage ship.

Ed became a Heavy Equipment mechanic and worked at several truck shops, working his way up to service manager, then serving as Heavy Equipment instructor at Spokane Community College for 20 years.

Ed married Gloria in 1967 and they had four sons together. He enjoyed fixing anything mechanical, solving problems, and relished his farming years- especially those truck farming with his sons and wife during summer breaks from SCC.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, sons Mike, Steve, (Amilee) Stacey, (Nichole), Mark, (Katerine), grandkids- Joshua, Hunter, Colton, Cody, Cash, Renae, Emmett and Josiah, and great grandchildren- Suzie, Landon, and Joshua Jr., his sister Tana Dole (Warren); 3 nieces and a nephew.

Ed will be missed by all who knew him.
