Liz, of Spokane Valley, passed away on August 7, 2017 from her battle with cancer. Liz was born in Thermopolis, WY on June 2, 1938, where she lived until 1941 when her family relocated to Seattle during World War II. Liz married her high school sweetheart Paul Schweers on July 26, 1957 and they were married 56 years. Liz worked in banking her entire career mostly as a loan officer. She was an avid reader, loved her family and sewing.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents Allison (Halbert) & Frances Davis and her husband Paul. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Valerie and son-in-law Steve Akins; granddaughters Karen Akins and Laura Akins; and great grandson Tucker.
In lieu of flowers she requested memorial donations be given to Cancer Care Northwest of Spokane. A memorial service will be at 1 PM Monday, August 14, 2017 at Spokane Valley Assembly of God Church, 15618 E Broadway Ave, Spokane Valley, WA.
