Shirley was bone on December 13, 1933 and moved to Washington State in 1957. She graduated from Whitworth University with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in elementary education and taught school for the Mead School District for most of her career. Shirley enjoyed gardening, metal detecting and traveling.
Shirley is survived by her children Sandie Miller and her husband Jim Miller and Wendy Bleecker and her husband Shaun Bleecker. Shirley is also survived by her grandchildren Ryan Miller and his wife Sanella Miller, Amanda Hunka, Daniel Hunka, Brandi Miller, Savannah Maxwell and her husband Zack Maxwell and Trace Bleecker and his wife Juliana Caballero along with 6 great grandchildren.
A small family celebration of life will be held in her honor.
