I would like to thank all of those who have supported us since Gary's passing.  The cards, emails, texts, Facebook posts, flowers, donations and especially those who came to be with us at his Mass, burial and Celebration of Life have meant so much.  Gary was an extraordinary man who was a great husband, father and friend.  His wit was well known and his creativity boundless.  He had a zest for life and we were all blessed to be part of his journey.  He touched many lives and  we treasure the ability to hear stories about him from so many people.  Although his physical presence is gone, he will be forever in our hearts and memories.  May God hold us close until we are with him once again.

I feel a certain void..just having received this sad news late! Gary was one in a million.  I'm so happy I got to see him and talk with him at our 50th high school class reunion last August.  God Blessed his family with the life he shared and surely is entertaining the Heavens!  Rest in Peace my friend.

Oh Gary - one of my very best friends at USBI in the Public Relations days.  He was such a great mentor and friend.  He was absolutely hilarious.  When I was in labor with my first and only child in 1991, he posted a huge sign outside our office that had some made up name of the baby, weighing 25 lbs, 10 oz, or something like that (because I am 5'2" and I gained like 65 lbs).  He came to see me in the hospital along with my Manager Andrea after an emergency C-section, bringing flowers, as I recall.  Once, I pointed out a picture outside of the executive office that resembled the male anatomy if you know what I mean.  He thought it was hilarious.  That picture disappeared soon after.  When I came back to work and started pumping milk for the baby in our storage room, oh the jokes..... he would say the most hilarious things.  Such a great guy, mentor, friend, supporter, great listener.  I attended an epic party at their house in Melbourne just once, but I'll never forget it.  Prayers and thoughts are with the family.  He will be greatly missed by all.  He was one of a kind.   

Gary was larger than life; one of the funniest guys I ever met and a true gentleman. 
I will always treasure our many Friday nights working for WEZY covering Mustang football – he was “The Voice” and I was “The Other Guy.”  But playing second fiddle to the best in the business was an opportunity I always cherished.   
He was also one of the most organized individuals; our Big Scrub weekend itineraries were down to the minute (even if Craig & I occasionally revolted by taking  a brief detour to Gainesville).
A man of many hats, he excelled in everything he did and I consider myself fortunate to call him a friend.

I consider myself lucky to have met one of my best friends 45 years ago. Gary was the brother I never had. We met at a time in our lives where we had most of our best lives ahead of us.  He and Mary Jane and Debi and I have had so many good times.  We celebrated our wedding together. We celebrated many Octoberfest's together. We celebrated the births of our children (all born in July).  The memories are many and will last forever.

Gary was helpful in me getting a job at USBI which I consider the best job I ever had and it was working with Gary that made for many enjoyable memories as well.

The “Big Scrub” camping trips, the houseboat weekends, the Henderson parties, the Macon Mall/Georgia vs Oregon football weekend, the kid’s birthday parties, Jerry Lewis telethon weekends, pushing the Opel to get it started, seeing Haley’s Comet while riding to a poker night in the MG, and just hanging out with my best friend are memories I will cherish forever!

I will miss you my friend!  I expect to hear your voice again as you announce me as a newcomer to Heaven. Until then keep the Angels entertained like you did with us while we had the pleasure of knowing you here.

Silky voice is an understatement. When I arrived at Florida Tech, Gary called my name as a starter for the first time, not only was it an ultimate joy hearing your name called over the loud speaker, but hearing it by Gary's voice was INCREDIBLE!!!  I took to Gary, Mary Jane, Barry and Brit as my family away from home. I  inherited a Dad and Mom and little bro and little sis.  Spending time at their home, I felt like I was home. Although I lost contact, they are  always a part of me. Gary and Barry would always wait for me after a home game, and I loved hearing his always on silky radio voice. I always chuckled to myself,  thinking how lucky Barry and Brit were to hear bedtime stories from Gary. 
I would love to hear one last time, "starting, from Montreal Canada....."
