Dr. Herbert Henry Robinson III (age 85) went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 11, 2019. Herb was born on May 31, 1933 to Alberta and Henry Robinson. He went to Otis Orchards Elementary School and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1951. He has attended 11 Colleges and Universities, and earned five education degrees including his doctorate from Gonzaga University at the age of 69 years old.
Shortly after high school Herb became a Marine and was proud of his service to our country. He continued serving others teaching in several Colleges and founding the Inland Empire Baptist Temple.
For the last forty years he was a Psychotherapist and the Director at Tapio Counseling where he worked with individuals, couples, and families struggling with domestic violence. His clients have many stories of changed lives.
Herb is survived by Jean Rabe, his dear friend of more than 30 years; his sister Louise Nichols, and by his children: Cherie Hinseth, David Robinson, Peri Layton, Tanda Robinson and Gaila Robinson; by twenty grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
