Janice Arlene Lockett April 20, 1937 to June 8, 2018

Jan passed away peacefully as she slept in her home at Cherrywood Manor in north Spokane on June 8, 2018. Jan was born in Eureka South Dakota to Rueben and Matilda (Tillie) Becker and moved to Spokane as a child with her parents and brother Larry. She attended grade schools in Spokane and graduating from North Central High School where she loved to roller skate.

Jan married David Fleming and had 3 sons; Tim, Tom and Greg. Later divorced and married Robert Lockett with his 2 children DeAnna and Wayne. Early on the family moved to New York state and then a short stay in St Louis eventually landing back on the west coast in Portland Oregon in the early 60's. During the six years in Portland there were fun trips to Rockaway Beach on the Oregon coast, GoCarting, and fishing and waterskiing on the boat. The family moved to Bellevue WA in 1970 for a short 2 years and after divorce Jan returned home to Spokane where she worked in the family restaurant business, The Tower, in the Valley. Working in the restaurant industry became Jan's career until her retirement from the Barrel restaurant in north Spokane.

Loving mother and sister, Jan is survived by her sons Tim, Greg and Tom & daughter-in-law Denise Lockett grandson Mathew Lockett, her brother Larry Becker and stepchildren DeAnna Hernandez and Wayne Lockett.
