Jayne passed away September 11, 2018, at home and in the presence of her devoted husband, Carl who loved and cared for her through a valiant four-and-a-half-year-long struggle with cancer. She is now safe and free of suffering in the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ. Jayne deeply loved her brothers and sisters, sons and granddaughters. She also loved her church family of Valley Bible Church where she joyful and selflessly served the Lord alongside her husband. She was born March 1, 1962, in Rockville Centre, NY to the late Jerry and Evelyn Rastelli. Jayne attended local schools and worked in the family-run E&E Deli. She joined the United States Air Force on the buddy system with her twin sister, Jean in 1981. Jayne honorably served her country for four years. She then moved to Spokane where she first worked for the Spokesman-Review and later for Central Pre-mix for 18 years. She met and married the love of her life, Carl Crouch in 2007. She was Carl’s mate, soulmate, friend and buddy. She loved him unconditionally, and he her, up to her last breath. They enjoyed their life together with the Lord as the foundation and source of their love. Jayne is survived by her husband, Carl of Spokane Valley; sons, Matt Stachofsky and Kenny Stachofsky, of Spokane; granddaughters, Piper Lee and Jayne Madison Stachofsky (Krystin Grover) of Spokane; sisters, Kathy (Bob) Cohen of Elgin, IL, Sue Sheehan of Bellmore, NY, Jean Barrett (D.J.) of Niceville, FL; brothers, Rob (Debbie) Rastelli of Seaford, NY, Tom (Joy) Rastelli of Williamstown, SC, and Gerard Rastelli of Williamstown, SC. Graveside and military honors will be conducted Monday, September 24, 2018, at 9:45 am at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at Valley Bible Church, 3021 S Sullivan Road, Spokane Valley, WA at 12:00 noon.
