

Jerine Marie Paul went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 21st, just short of her 92nd birthday. Jerine was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 9th, 1934, with her twin brother Jerry.
In 1941, they, along with their mother Clara, moved to
Spokane. Having been born with spina bifida, she spent a large portion of her childhood at Shriners Children’s Hospital. She graduated from North Central High School, attended Pacific Lutheran University for nursing, and ultimately became a Registered Nurse at Sacred Heart School of Nursing. Her nursing career spanned 40+ years at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Valley General, and finally Deaconess Hospital.
She married her late husband, Gordan Paul, on February 14th, 1958, in Spokane, WA, where they were happily married for 52 years.
Jerine was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Herigstad, her father, Irving Larson, and her husband, Gordon (2-15-2010).
Jerine had lived in the Riverview Retirement Community for the last 16 years. She is survived by her twin brother, Jerry Larson; her two sons, Michael (Becky) and Andrew (Michelle); and 3 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren. Jerine loved animals and was a devoted Christian who gave her life to Jesus. She walked through life each day with Jesus in her heart.
A memorial service will be held in August (date to come) at Riverview Retirement Community Chapel, 1801 E Upriver Dr, Spokane, WA 99207.
Memorial Donations may be made in Jerine’s name to Union Gospel Mission.
