Jerold "Jerry" Joseph Walt went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 30, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on August 31, 1942, to Nick and Frances Walt in Devil's Lake, ND. He graduated from North Central High School in 1960. He served as a Captain in the Army National Guard. He was the vice president of sales for 20 years at Jensen Byrd Company. Jerry and his wife Mary owned Post Falls Hardware until 2004 when Jerry then went to work at the General Store until he retired in 2017. He is survived by the love of his life, Mary, of 39 years, 3 kids, 2 step-children and 2 grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and 7 siblings. Private services will be held at a later date.
