Stan was born in Spokane at St. Luke’s Hospital, June 13, 1927 to Mary Alice Remillard and John Antone Fasules. He grew up on a farm his parents started near Airway Heights and later went to Lewis and Clark High School where he graduated in 1945. After graduation, Stan joined the U.S. Army and served one year in occupied Japan. He returned to Spokane and married Cleo Wiebe on her 18th birthday in 1948.
In the early sixties, Stan and Cleo started their own business in the Garland district called Fashion Floors. He later moved to North Division and started the Carpet Mart and the Furniture Mart. Stan is preceded in death by Cleo and is survived by his two sons, Ken (Mary) and Dave (Stasia).
