Juanita Karol Johnson

Juanita Karol Crudup Johnson Juanita passed away January 14, 2022 in Spokane, WA surrounded by her children, Seville and Leon. She was 65 years old. Ms. Johnson was a beautiful, spiritual, tenacious and courageous woman. She had overcome many obstacles in her life journey that provided inspiration and encouragement for us all. Family and faith are essential aspects in an overall fulfilling life, especially when facing seasons of adversity. She was retired from Centurylink and was an active member of the church choir as she had a rich, sultry voice that rivaled gospel singer Mahalia Jackson. She loved to garden and care for her small dogs. She will be truly missed as her light brightened the darkest day. Juanita is survived by her children (Seville Broussard Hering and Leon Johnson), son in-law (Todd Hering) and 4 truly gifted (both academically and athletically) grandchildren (Jurrian, Addisen, Eisley, and Priya). The family is going to hold a celebration of life in early summer. There will be an announcement of the service on Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services webpage.
